Congratulations, Kuerdas Band!

As I am writing this, Kuerdas Band is on their way back to Gensan from Tagum City.

They recently joined a Song Writing Competition and bagged the 1st runner up prize. There were 10 finalists and they were lucky enough to have won the 1st runner up award.

Hurray to that!

The journey to this competition was a little bit tough. There was very little time to prepare for everything.

After the long and tiring trip

But all’s well that ends well!

To all of the members of Kuerdas Band, Congratulations and a pat on the back for a job well done!

Kuerdas Band Is Thriving

Being in the music industry, it is very easy for the Kuerdas Band to be acquainted with different people coming from various walks of life as well as of course, many different types of musical gadgets such as a dj controller from musicians friend. Name it, they must have known most of them!

Thriving in the local music industry- which for the most part only around General Santos and its neighboring towns and cities- keep Kuerdas Band alive after all these time.

To Dream Big Is Fun

Kuerdas was still starting out a decade ago when I heard them talking about acquiring a boss br80 at guitar center. No, I definitely was not eavesdropping but it was only one of those moments when you hear your little younger brothers dreaming “big” for themselves, mocking around with each other. Haha! You can just laugh at them on how funny and incredulous they sound.

Anyhow, a decade had past and the band is still intact. Isn’t it a good sign for them?
