When I took a six-month short-term course in Medical Transcription, one of the mjaor subjects that we have discussed and studied comprehensively is Pathophysiology. When something disrupts the normal physiological processes of one’s body, it joins the realms of Pathophysiology and everything that malfunctions are being studied in detail.
One of the ailments we have comprehensively tackled on and discussed by our physican lecturers was cerebral palsy. It is one of the most dreaded disease especially among children because it isn’t curable. It is a condition wherein there is the occurence of physical inability in human development of which the most affected part is the brain. Surveys has it that the incidence of cerebral palsy is higher in men than in women. Abnormal motor development and coordination is one of the evident symtoms of this disease.
Now you got a free discussion from me on this disease, hehe! Do I sound like a medical doctor now? Hahaha! I could actually discuss some more of the salient features of cerebral palsy but I prefer to talk more about them some other time.
