In the previous years, the band usually are full of bookings in and out of town when this month comes. February is the City’s Foundation Anniversary and the nghts are festive with the bands livening up the night for the Kalilangan Festival Celebration. But since Kuerdas is doing some kind of overhauling of its members, bookings were declined not until a new drummer shall be bound for commitment.
It’s a little hard to make a group intact. In a band, it is composed of different unique individuals and what usually binds them together is their love and passion for music. Kuerdas has been around for quite a number of years and undoubtedly, it is Gensan’s homegrown talent. The group have been honing its craft to satisfy its growing audience. But if some members fail to commit for quality performance level, the group’s vision is hampered.
It’s but normal for some members to look for greener pasture outside the Philippine shore. That is respected. But if skills have stagnated and performance is sacrificed, that is quite unacceptable.
Kuerdas is hopeful that it can come back on stage all INTACT right before the Bikini Open 2009. Kuerdas is slated to perform on the said event.

Hi Lainy, I got ur comment at my blog. I actually left u a comment on the TC widget at ur friend Uncleche’s blog. I am using a TC Monthly now and it resets every month, cool right? I can mail u the code for that if you like, it seems to work fine so far. As for JS, what problem are u having actually? For me, I couldn’t import my comments but finally managed to do so after many many tries! Once u’ve imported ur comments, you should be okay unless ur template cannot be updated automatically, which was what happened to me. So I wrote to the JS peeps and they sent me a working version of my template with the JS installed, and that’s how I finally managed to get it working on WOAFS!!!! Phew!!! Let me know how I can help.
