When buying musical instruments and other stuffs for the band, Kuerdas is always on the look out for items that are on auction or put up on sale in the malls. Believe it or not, most of their instruments were bought from auction especially the amplifiers and guitars. I have a friend who works as a manager of a pawnshop and when something is up for auction, he would immediately inform us. There are actually many things that we were able to acquire via auction. Our digital camera was also bought from there.
Oh by the way, Kuerdas is on hiatus for the meantime. As a full band that is. They can still actually do acoustics reggae once the bassist has arrived from his out of town endeavors. Do watch out for them on a Pre-Valentine Show on Friday. I will write about it on a separate post.
