For the last Monday of January, the only song that keeps coming at the back of my mind the entire day is an old song that is originally sang in the 1960′s by The Paragons. As usual, the song having its reggae beat, was originally released in Jamaica. This song had actually been relegated to the sidelines not until newer renditions in 1980, 2002, and 2008 came up.
Blondie gave this song a reggae/ ska beat in the 80′s. Billie Piper revived the song in 2000 and in 2008, the British vocal trio Atomic Kitten made a superb rendition of the song. I love the Atomic Kitten’s version more. It might be because it became a little pop-oriented with the playing of the keyboards.
