Allena came home here in Gensan just in time for Kuerdas’ last gig for the year. Incidentally, it was also the 120th days of Oktoberfest and the culmination of Paskuhan sa GenSan celebration. We had a Clan Grand Reunion at my mother’s hometown on December 29 and we immediately hurried traveling back home to watch Kuerdas’ performance on the 30th. It was an event that is worth remembering because most of our relatives from Davao City were there. One of my cousins, Yolafe from Davao, also jammed with the band along with Allena. The 2 of them performed on stage without any practice at all, hahaha!
